January 2025 - hosting part of the National Seniors Championships

In early January 2025, we hosted 19 matches of the Australian Seniors national teams tournament. With over 700 players from all around Australia as well as New Zealand, we were delighted to see so many visitors at our club, enjoying what they told us were the best courts they played on! We didn't miss a minute of play with rain or heat, and visitors loved the friendly atmosphere and great catering our member volunteers provided.

We even hosted the final playoff for one of the divisions, Womens 60+ Div 2. WA 3 were the successful team. (see last pic, with Deb Clarke and Michael Daws from the club)
